Finally at the end of the day, Boney staked everything on a final roll of the dice and sent in his Imperial Guard. As they reached the crest of the ridge, General Hill waved us forward. "Drive them back, 13th!" he cheered, and we did - all the way back to Paris! (I'm in the front row, third from left).
