Peter awoke on Thanksgiving morning with a brilliant idea. They would have a Thanksgiving goose!

Peter chased Lucy Goose around the barn until he finally caught her.

When Peter's wife, Penelope, saw Lucy Goose clutched firmly by the neck, she realized what Peter had in mind. "No," she shouted! And, little Petee junior began to cry.

Peter quickly put Lucy Goose back outside. She ruffled her feathers, gave Peter an angry look and then waddled off toward the barn.
