A Dragoon's Tale

The 13th Light Dragoons had served under the Duke of Wellington in Spain and we joined his army again near Brussels. I'll get around to finishing the portrait sometime.

Our officers were convinced that Boney would never march north to Brussels and so they all went to a ball put on for the Allied army's officers. I was on sentry duty at the ball.
